Zimbra Desktop helps you manage and stay on top of your emails. After you connect to your email account, you can use it to read and reply to emails, to forward emails, to compose and send out new emails, to manage a list of contacts, and more.

Zimbra Desktop provides support for multiple operating systems. You can use it on a machine that runs Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux. To get it up and running on a Windows-powered PC, you will have to complete a simple installation process.

Zimbra Desktop provides support for multiple email providers. You can add a Zimbra, Gmail, Yahoo!, IMAP, POP, or Microsoft Exchange account. When adding an account, you are presented with options to sync all calendars, contacts, and groups.

The interface is just what you would expect from an email client. And that is a good thing; it means you will quickly get accustomed to Zimbra Desktop’s interface. Please note that the interface can be customized. From the Preferences menu you can change the interface’s theme and you can select one of many supported languages.

Here are the main features that Zimbra Desktop has to offer: new email notifications; read, reply, forward emails; compose new emails; tag, mark emails as spam; manage a list of contacts; manage appointments and tasks; work online and offline; manage multiple email accounts.

Zimbra Desktop is free software. This means you have all the time in the world to uncover everything that it has to offer.

Zimbra Desktop can prove to be a very useful email client. So useful that you could set it as your default mail application.
